LEW DEL GATTO Versatility and knowledgeable comprehension of musical art form is the basis for a stellar career. Lew has been in demand with jazz, jingles, films, and television. He was a saxophonist/arranger with the Saturday Night Live Band from the show’s beginning in 1975 to 1979 and from 1985 until 2005. In his youth, Lew gravitated towards the music of Bird, Prez, Getz and Rollins. During his training at Manhattan School of Music, Lew went on the road with the Les Elgart Band, Sal Salvador and appeared with the world famous Johnny Carson Tonight Show Band. He is on numerous recordings for such artists as Tony Bennett, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, John Lennon, Quincy Jones, Harry Connick, Jr. …the list goes on and on. He has appeared with many giants in the music world, including Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Liza Minelli, Buddy Rich, Tony Bennett, Chuck Israel and The National Jazz Ensemble, Henry Mancini, Herbie Hancock, Phil Woods and Eric Clapton.
BOB KELLER was born and raised in New York. His musical expertise consists of over 50 years of professional experience. He is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music where he also taught jazz. Bob played in the U.S Army NORAD Band as a featured artist. He also performed with Chuck Israel’s National Jazz Ensemble, the Great American Swing Band and the Stan Kenton Reunion Orchestra. Bob has worked for many of the greats backing up such legendary artists as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Mel Torme, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, Vic Damone, Bobby Darin and Liza Minelli. He has recorded several times with the Buddy Rich Orchestra and Barbra Streisand.
JESSE GREEN Pianist, composer, arranger, recording artist, producer and teacher. Jesse has an extensive background in music. In 1998, he won top honors at the American Pianist Associations Jazz Competition and was named the first Jazz Fellow of that association. Jesse has performed with a wide range of jazz artists such as Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Lew Tabackin, Freddie Hubbard, Al Grey, David Liebman, Benny Carter, Jimmy Heath as well as the great Urbie Green (his father).
