DAVE MIRARCHI is a saxophonist and composer from Peckville, Pennsylvania. 

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in 2018, David moved to New York City to receive his master’s degree in Jazz Performance from The City College of New York, under the direction of Steve Wilson. Throughout the course of his education, David has studied with luminaries of the New York Jazz and Improvised music scenes, including David Bixler, Jason Rigby, Ed Neumeister, David Liebman, Tony Malaby, and Gary Smulyan. In 2021 David was named a Fellow of the Ravinia Steans Music institute, lead by Steve Wilson, Billy Childs, and Rufus Reid.

David currently co-leads a chordless quartet called Quiet People, who released their debut record of the same name in 2020, and leads a number of other projects including: Keepsake Box (solo), trio, Paper Attic (quartet) and Family words (folk quartet).
